By sending your payment and work, you are verifying that you have read and agree the following terms:
- Neither Defang Your Synopsis Critiquing Service nor any affiliate is responsible for work that is lost due to client’s failure to save his/her documents.
- Estimated turnaround time of two weeks is subject to change in case of fire, illness, technical problems or acts of God, and if deadline is unable to be met, all moneys received by DYSCS will be returned to client, less Paypal fees. Service charges are otherwise non-refundable, but may be transferred to another date in case of the above unpreventable situations.
- Revisions are the responsibility of the client. DYSCS will not provide a complete grammatical or copy edit, though obvious errors will be noted and changes suggested.
- As creator of DYSCS, author Natalie Monk will give each critique her personal attention and will assess the work to the best of her abilities based on her 8-point checklist as follows:
- Plot issues
- Pacing
- GMC
- Believability
- Sentence flow
- Voice consistency
- High concept aspects
- Emotional and visual effectiveness of word choice
